We are looking for a media-savvy, strategic, and creative Consultant (account manager) to join our award-winning team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PR professional with a strong track record in delivering impactful media relations campaigns, who also brings a solid understanding of social media and demonstrable experience in creating engaging digital content for clients.
You’ll play a central role in managing and growing client relationships, securing top-tier media coverage, and supporting wider integrated communications campaigns. While much of your focus will be on traditional and earned media, a non-negotiable requirement is the ability to confidently lead on social media content development and ensure campaigns perform across both traditional and digital channels. Working in a fast-paced environment where no day is ever the same, you’ll thrive on rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in.
Responsibilities
Client management & media relations:
- Lead day-to-day client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact
- Develop and execute strategic media relations plans aligned with client objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with national, regional, and trade journalists
- Draft press releases, op-eds, Q&As, briefing notes and media materials with precision and flair
- Secure high-quality coverage across print, broadcast, and online media
- Prepare clients for interviews and manage media opportunities from idea to execution
Social media & content:
- Plan and produce client-facing social media content, ensuring alignment with campaign messaging
- Work with creative colleagues to deliver impactful visual and video content
- Understand platform best practices and content performance metrics across LinkedIn, X, Instagram and others
- Use analytics to refine and report on performance, feeding insights into future content strategies
Campaign planning & delivery:
- Develop and execute integrated communications campaigns that combine earned, owned, and paid tactics
- Conduct research and landscape analysis to support strategic recommendations
- Project manage campaign timelines, budgets, deliverables and reporting
- Regularly report on campaign performance and results to clients, highlighting key metrics trends and areas for improvement
Team collaboration:
- Collaborate across Pagefield’s public affairs, digital, and marketing teams to ensure client campaigns are aligned and integrated
- Provide guidance and support on communications tools and techniques to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development
- Support Pagefield marketing team to leverage owned social media channels for new business generation and talent acquisition
- Contribute to new business pitches and proposals
What we’re looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in PR and communications (agency or in-house)
- Proven ability to secure national media coverage across a range of sectors
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills
- Experience developing and managing social media content and campaigns
- Hands-on experience using tools like Meltwater, Brandwatch, Signal, Canva, CapCut, Meltwater, or similar
- Familiarity with social scheduling and analytics platforms (e.g. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, GA4, or similar)
- Strong multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Confident presenting ideas and results to clients and colleagues
- A keen eye for all things design and branding
- A genuine interest in news, politics, business and current affairs
