Edelman, Pagefield and Finsbury execs plus Royal PRs make list of 1,000 most influential Londoners

The Progress 1,000 contains names from across the worlds of sports, fashion, politics and beyond – with marcoms entrants classified as “spinners and marketers”.

These include well-known figures such as Ed Williams, the UK CEO of Edelman who used to head comms at the BBC; Bell Pottinger boss James Henderson; and Roland Rudd, the chair of Finsbury who is also at the helm of a pro-EU campaign.

The Queen’s comms secretary James Roscoe and comms director for the Royal Household Sally Osman, make the list along with Outside Organisation CEO Alan Edwards.

Former Prince Charles and Manchester United comms chief Paddy Harverson and Google PR boss DJ Collins, who are co-founders of Milltown Partners, also rank among the most influential in the industry.
