Pagefield brings in Mail on Sunday columnist Joanne Hart for freelance support and confirms two other appointments

Pagefield has brought in current Mail on Sunday investments editor and ‘Midas’ columnist Joanne Hart and former News International editor Bill Akass as freelancers and appointed Cohn & Wolfe’s Louise Fernley as a Consultant.

As freelance specialist partners, Joanne Hart and Bill Akass will support the agency and its clients on a project-by-project basis.

Hart has over 20 years’ media experience, and is currently investments editor at the Mail on Sunday, where she writes the share tips column ‘Midas’. She also contributes a monthly column to The Banker magazine.

Akass joined The Mirror as a news reporter in 1986 and became a foreign correspondent covering the first Gulf war, Romania revolution and Bosnia conflict. In 1995 he joined News International and has held a number of senior positions at the company.

Louise Fernley joins Pagefield as a consultant after four years at WPP agency Cohn & Wolfe. She becomes a permanent member of the team working on accounts including John Lewis and Business Growth Fund.
