Chairman of Pagefield, Teresa Graham CBE, awarded DBE

The Chairman of Pagefield’s Advisory Board, Teresa Graham CBE, has been awarded a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in the New Year’s Honours List 2020 for services to Small Businesses. The award is in recognition of a career devoted to providing strategic advice to ambitious, growing businesses, and freeing those businesses from the fetters of red tape.

Dame Teresa is an expert in regulatory affairs, serving as a past Deputy Chair of the Government’s Better Regulation Commission (BRC). She is Chairman of the Administrative Burdens Advisory Board of HMRC and the Senior Independent Director on the board of the Office for Tax Simplification. She is also a past Chair of the Regulatory Board of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and currently Chairs the SME Advisory Group of UK Finance. Her publications include, an independent review for the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the Small Firm’s Loan Guarantee Scheme, an independent review for the BEIS Secretary of State on pre-packaged administrations and a member of the Advisory Board of The Sir John Kingman Review of the Financial Reporting Council.
