Before stepping down in Autumn 2021, Chris was the Senior Director for Public Affairs at Asda, leading the supermarket’s engagement with the UK government, devolved UK and local government. Prior to this, he was Head of Public Affairs for PricewaterhouseCoopers and for Scottish & Newcastle – at the time – Britain’s largest brewer. He started his career at IBM UK. Chris also spent over a decade as a Partner in a communications consultancy.
Chris has extensive lecturing experience at universities, schools and on professional courses and is currently mentoring the External Affairs Director of a prominent NGO. Outside public affairs, Chris is a cricket scorer for Surrey CCC and Wimbledon CC.
