Giles Winn is a former journalist and was a special advisor to the Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2017-19. He now provides communications advice and strategic counsel to businesses, international organisations and senior leaders.
In government, Giles advised Chancellor Philip Hammond on media strategy, external relations and legislation – and oversaw HM Treasury’s engagement with business and key stakeholders during budget processes.
As a broadcast journalist Giles was a senior producer and editor at Sky News, running the channel’s flagship political show ‘Murnaghan’ for four years, and building a comprehensive network in politics and the media.
