Giles Winn is a highly experienced policy, public affairs and communications specialist. Having previously held senior roles both in the media and in politics, he now advises clients across a broad range of sectors, including international organisations and senior leaders.
From 2017 to 2019, Giles was Special Advisor to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, responsible for all of the Chancellor’s external engagement, while also overseeing HM Treasury’s engagement with business and key stakeholders in the run up to major fiscal events. Before that, Giles was a broadcast journalist and senior TV producer for Sky News and Channel 5, including roles as Editor of Sky’s flagship Sunday morning political show, and as Head of Interviews for the channel.
Giles is a respected voice on issues related to HM Treasury, as well as media policy. He’s previously written for The Times, and spoken to the Institute for Government.
