Lawrie brings extensive expertise from the energy and specifically nuclear sector including his roles as Chair of Magnox and Dounreay and his previous roles as President of Rolls-Royce plc Land and Sea Division, and at Network Rail.
He started his career as an RAF Apprentice and aircraft technician, and has recently stepped down after 16 years on the RAF Benevolent Fund (RAFBF) Board, the last eight as Chair.
He was awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Honours List in June 2022.
