Alison has worked in the media for more than 30 years; firstly as a journalist and regional newspaper Editor.
Latterly Alison has built up a portfolio career which has seen her advise all sectors of the media plus business and the third sector. She was a Press Complaints Commissioner; the BBC Trustee for England for eight years, Chairing their Editorial Standards Committee; and Vice President of the British Board of Film Classification.
Currently she is a Gambling Commissioner, Vice Chair of an NHS Foundation Trust and a non exec on several Boards including Durham University and Motability Operations. At Pagefield she is a senior advisor to Mark and Oliver as well as mentoring their executive team, and works on client crisis communications and training.
