Tom has over nine years’ experience leading challenging campaigning roles in government and the private sector. At Pagefield he works with a variety of clients from new start-ups to large organisations, including the likes of Leidos and Bonnet, helping to build brand awareness and protect reputations.

Tom started his career in government where he held several media roles, including leading sensitive reputational areas at HMRC such as cyber security, digitisation and Brexit. He additionally advised the cross-Whitehall Border Delivery Group and HMRC’s minister, the Financial Secretary to the Treasury.

During the pandemic, Tom was the press lead for the government’s self-employment support scheme. He also co-founded Lockdown Loo, an app that millions of people used to locate open public conveniences while there were restrictions.

Outside government, Tom founded The Fast Charge, a leading publication about electric vehicles which is read by influencers across the energy and automotive sectors, and videos that have been viewed more than 10 million times on social media. His insights have featured in numerous publications including The Guardian, Daily Telegraph and Autocar.
