A corporate affairs and reputation management expert, Chris has over 16 years’ experience in advising organisations ranging from start-ups and family-owned businesses, to major publicly listed companies, national and international trade associations and charities. His sector experience spans healthcare, life sciences, education, transport, infrastructure, defence, financial services and fintech, property, tech, FMCG and the public sector. At Pagefield he supports clients including London City Airport, MeiraGTx and the Road Haulage Association, to name a few.
A former Global Media Relations Director at AstraZeneca and before that a senior consultant at several other leading public affairs and PR consultancies, Chris has regularly devised strategies, provided media training and acted as a company spokesperson for clients either seeking to raise their media profiles or manage media scrutiny, including as part of effective crisis and issues management.
A former Chair of the Crisis Group of the UK’s Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), Chris is also a former member of the PRCA’s Council and a judge for the Association’s awards, and has commented on reputation management for the BBC, Sky News, The Guardian and City AM.
