Sean is an Associate Partner at Pagefield and a media and communications specialist with over 25 years’ experience in journalism and corporate communications.
Before moving into communications, Sean had a successful and award-winning career in journalism, working as a reporter, editor, and executive for some of the UK’s leading newspapers and radio stations. His roles included Assistant Editor and Head of Features at The Sun where he worked for 15 years across print and digital on major agenda-setting stories, campaigns and events. At the Sunday Mirror he won a Press Award for Showbusiness Reporter of the Year.
Sean has successfully helped to raise the media profiles and protect the reputations of numerous diverse brands, organisations and individuals. These have included Olsen Cruise Lines, VistaJet, Naomi Campbell, Pimlico Plumbers, and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
At Pagefield, Sean helps clients to navigate the evolving media landscape to get their voice heard and their message across, combining excellent contacts with a nose for a story. He supports clients including Pure Data Centres, Code First Girls and Bitstamp.
He is a former judge for the Society of Editors National Press Awards and a graduate of News UK’s Emerging Leaders Programme.
