Kellogg’s is one of the world’s leading FMCG brands, with the UK as one of its major global markets and an important European hub, housing the world’s largest cereal factory in Trafford, Manchester.

Pagefield has been retained by Kellogg’s to provide strategic counsel and operational support on its public affairs activity since January 2012, with the aim of raising stakeholder awareness of Kellogg’s economic contribution, its extensive CSR work on alleviating food poverty and its contributions to public health commitments.

By setting a clear strategy – focussed on Kellogg’s breakfast clubs programme and its contribution as a major UK employer and innovator – we have engaged politicians at every level from the Prime Minister and Chancellor downwards through a major programme of breakfast club visits. Through an economic contribution report and follow-up events at Conservative and Labour party conferences we have helped to position Kellogg’s as a significant manufacturer and corporate leader. Targeted one-to-ones have also enabled Kellogg’s to build awareness of its activity and contribute to policy debate in a number of key areas from HFSS foods to the Northern Powerhouse agenda.

We also regularly advise Kellogg’s on its corporate media strategy, in relation to government audiences.
